11-07-1962 Regular MeetingREGULAR MEETING A regular meeting of the Clermont Planning Commission was held in the City Administration building on Wednesday - November 7, 1962. Commission members present were: Mesdames Carrington and VanNostrand, and, Messrs. Colegrove, Hoskinson, Root, Bakeman and Winther. A general discussion took place on work being done by the Commission. In the absence of Chairman, Frank Innis, the meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman, Mrs. George VanNostrand, at approximately 9:00 P.M. Mr. Bakeman submitted three plans for the location of a new Fire Station, Police Station and possibly a City Hall. After considerable discussion regarding this subject, it was agreed that the plans should be numbered 1 - 2 - and 3, and that after some changes were made in Plan # 1, they were to be turned over to Chairman Innis for delivery to the City Council. Chairman Innis is to advise the Council that the plan preference of the Commis- sion is in the order of 3-2-1. Mr. Frank Bakeman gave a progress report on his preparation of Clermont growth projections, and stated that he expected to have the first part of this study completed in the near future. Mr. Frank Bakeman submitted a sample of a proposed questionairE for presentation to the general public. Following a few changes in the questionaire, it was decided to mimeograph 500 copies and attempt to have them distributed at the City Election on December 11, 1962. There being no further business to come before the commission, the meeting was adj ec'y.
