RESOLUTION
NO. 705
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A PERSONNEL POLICY FOR THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, RESCINDING ALL PERSONNEL POLICIES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Personnel Policy of the City of Clermont is
necessary to establish regulations, policies and procedures for
City Employees; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Policy establishes policies for
administration, employee conduct, personnel actions, equal
employment opportunity, recruitment and selection, educational
assistance and conferences, tuition assistance, salary
administration, merit pay increases, police incentive pay,
longevity pay, overtime pay, leave, annual physical examinations,
attendance records, travel and subsistence allowances, hours of
work, probation, performance evaluations, promotions, demotions,
transfers, dismissals, resignations, death, disability, reduction
in work force, and employee disciplinary and grievance procedures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Clermont that:
SECTION 1.
All personnel policies in conflict herewith are hereby
rescinded.
SECTION 2.
The attached Personnel Policy is hereby adopted by the
City Council of the City of Clermont, effective February
26, 1991.

LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THIS 26TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1991.
