CITY OF CLERNONT

RESOLUTION
RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Florida, in ~<;v~~p session assembled,
does hereby adopt, ratif.y and approve certain agreements
to be executed between the City of Clermont and Florida
Power Corporation for the purchase of electric energy
from said corporation by said City of Clermont for
street lighting, water pumping and miscellaneous ser-
vice, and the proper officers of the Cit,y are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said agreement in
substantially the form as presented to the City Council
at this meeting.

FIDRIDA P01-JER CORroRATION, ITS LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES,
SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT AND PRIVILEGE OF, AND
FRANCHISE FOR CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND OPERATlNG
AN ELECTRIC PO~-JER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, COUN'IY OF LAKE, AND STATE OF FIDRIDA."

Gentlemen:
The undersigned, Florida Power Corporation,
hereby accepts the above mentioned franchise and each of
the terms thereof. It is understood and agreed that this
franchise supersedes certain franchise dated March 3, 1925
granted by the City of Clermont to Florida Public Service
Company. On January 14, 1944, Florida Power Corporation
succeeded by merger to the corporate assets of Florida
Public Service Company.
Kindly file this acceptance in the Minute Book
of the City 50 that it may be a matter of record along with
the Ordinance.
