PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
PROJECT SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION:
GatorSktch Corporation has been requested by Barbara Hollerand to propose furnishing
professional services to provide the following items:
Task 4: Install Plants in Wetland 1 -2 (1- gallon containenzed) .5 acres
• Planting includes obtaming/installation of plants (1 gallon, 3 ft. O.C.), mobilization,
site preparation, initial exotic species treatment, and one (1) follow -up exotic species
treatment within Wetland 1 -2; plants will likely include duck potato, pickerel weed,
maidencane, canna, cordgrass, and/or fakahatchee grass, depending on availability
and pricing
• Treat 50 -ft buffer around wetland 1 -2 up to three (3) times annually through two (2)
growing seasons
Task 5: Pilot site - groundcover restoration (1 acre)
• Identify and field verify location of 1 -acre pilot site within U -1 restoration
• Plant locally grown groundcover seed mix in accordance with protocol detailed in the
Inland Groves Work Plan, with a projected installation in early 2013
• Treat pilot site for invasive exotic species up to three (3) times annually for up to two
(2) growing seasons; note: any outbreak of aggressive Category I species as
identified by Honda Exotic Pest Plant Council, such as natal grass, torpedo grass, or
other aggressive species, may require supplemental funding; no mowing or discing
should occur prior /subsequent to planting
• Treat 50 -ft buffer around pilot site up to three (3) times annually through two (2)
growing seasons

1) Acreage is approximate.
2) Cost may be adjusted to reflect increased fuel cost, or client- requested palette

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION SERVICES:
The Architect will manage all professional services and administer the Project,
including research of applicable design criteria, administration of Owner's
requirements, coordination of project schedule, and coordinate the services of the
Architect's consultants with those services provided by the Owner and Owner's
consultants. Integral with project administration is:

REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES
Expenses incurred by the architect, his staff and consulting engineers in the interest
of the project are in addition to the fees for services, and are to be reimbursed to the
architect. Expenses which are considered reimbursable on this project include
plotting and reproduction of documents for permitting, bidding and construction,
shipping of documents and submittals during construction, and travel expenses when
incurred in the interest of the project, and with the Owner's approval.
QUALIFICATIONS
Fees quoted herein are presented with the following qualifications:
1. Sales tax on professional services, if imposed by Florida state authorities,
shall be in addition to the professional fees stated herein.
2. This proposal includes the services of project manager, ecologist, and
biologist.
3. It is proposed that in exchange for the reduced professional fees proposed
above, that the Owner would agree to a limit of liability for the design team,
not to exceed the sum of the fees.
