RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR THE
CITY OF CLERMONT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2011 -2012.
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that the following budget amendments are necessary for the
Fiscal Year October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012:
GENERAL FUND
1. Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10511 - 12300) $ 351
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10512- 12300) $ 9,803
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10513 - 12300) $ 10,562
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10515- 12300) $ 5,489
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10522- 12300) $ 19,553
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10541- 12300) $ 2,609
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10542- 12300) $ 7,613
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10549- 12300) $ 1,873
Increase Group Medical Insurance - (10574- 12300) $ 4,594
To amend the budget for the 10% increase in city contribution to the
Group Self Insurance Fund, as approved by the City Council on
February 28, 2012.
2. Increase Professional Services (10513 - 53100) $ 6,000
To amend the budget for the carry forward of unexpended Fiscal Year
2010 -11 funds for the cost of an actuarial study to determine the liability
and funding requirements associated with the future cost of health and
dental benefits for retirees.
3. Increase Professional Services (10513 - 53100) $ 11,154
To amend the budget for the Police, Fire and Parks and Recreation
components of the Impact Fee Study, as approved by the City Council
on May 22, 2012.
4. Increase Repair and Maintenance — City Hall (10519- 54621) $ 79,303
To amend the budget for the cost of preventative maintenance and repairs
to the City Hall building, as approved by the City Council on February
28, 2012.

5. Increase Contributions — General (10519- 88201) $ 10,000
To amend the budget for a contribution to the Boys and Girls Clubs of
Lake and Sumter Counties, as approved by the City Council on May 22,
2012.
6. Increase Contract Services - Dispatch (10521 - 53400) $ 99,107
To amend the budget for the carry forward of unexpended Fiscal Year
2010 -11 funds for dispatching services performed by the Lake County
Sheriff's Office for the period April — June 2011.
7. Increase Capital Outlay — Equipment (10521- 66401 - 21014) $ 13,782
Increase Federal Grants (10331- 33120 - 21014) $ 13,568
To amend the budget for the cost of purchasing physical fitness
equipment for the Police Department and corresponding Federal Grant, as
approved by the City Council on November 8, 2011.
8. Increase Minor Equipment (10522 - 55204) $ 2,576
Increase Federal Grants (10337- 33720) $ 2,576
To amend the budget for the cost of purchasing emergency medical
equipment for the Fire Department and corresponding County Grant.
9. Increase Capital Equipment (10522- 66401) $ 4,369
To amend the budget for the purchase of a thermal imaging camera,
charger and batteries for the Fire Department, as approved by the City
Council on November 29, 2011 and January 10, 2012.

10. Increase Capital Outlay — Buildings (10542- 66201) $ 3,800
To amend the budget for the cost to upgrade the Historic Cooper
Memorial Library building fire alarm system, as approved by the City
Council on October 25, 2011.

Total General Fund adjustments.
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND
1. Increase Professional Services (12513 - 53152) $ 17,500
To amend the budget for the cost of analyzing the City's broadband
network, as approved by the City Council on August 9, 2011 and May 8,
2012.

2. Decrease Fund Balance (12599 - 59900) $ 17,500
Total Infrastructure Fund adjustments.
SEWER FUND
1. Increase Group Medical Insurance - (42535 $ 6,739
To amend the budget for the 10% increase in city contribution to
the Group Self Insurance Fund, as approved by the City Council on
February 28, 2012.
2. Decrease Fund Balance (42599 - 59900) $ 6,739
Total Sewer Fund adjustments.
SANITATION FUND
1. Increase Group Medical Insurance (49534- 12300) $ 9,788
To amend the budget for the 10% increase in city contnbution to
the Group Self Insurance Fund, as approved by the City Council
on February 28, 2012.
2. Increase Capital Outlay - Vehicles (49534- 66400) $ 821,350
To amend the budget for the cost of purchasing five (5) sanitation
vehicles, as approved by the City Council on May 24, 2011, August 23,
2011 and October 11, 2011.
3. Decrease Fund Balance (49599 - 59900) $ 831,138
Total Sanitation Fund adjustments.
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FUND
1. Increase Group Medical Insurance (60552- 12300) $ 175
To amend the budget for the 10% increase in city contribution to
the Group Self Insurance Fund, as approved by the City Council on
February 28, 2012.
2. Decrease Fund Balance (60599 - 59900) $ 175
Total Community Redevelopment Agency Fund adjustments.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above said budget amendments of
the City of Clermont for the Fiscal Year 2011 -2012 are hereby adopted.
