AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 48 OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT RELATING TO THE ZONING OF THE CITY
DF CLERMONT; CHANGING THE ZONES OF CERTÆIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF CLERMONT; AND OTHER fu~TTERS RELATING
THERETO.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Clermont has in
accordance with Sections 20 and 21 of Ordinance No. 48, the
Zoning Ordinance, caused a notice to be published in The Clermont
Press, a newspaper published in the City of Clermont, Florida,
in the issues of July 19th and 26, 1951, which read as follows:
NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMEND~ŒNT TO THE ZONING
ORDINA~CE OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA,
THE SA1~ BEING ORDINANCE NO. 48 OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA.
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
You, and each of you, are hereby notified that on the
7th day of August, A.D., 1951, at 7:30 P.M. in the City
Hall in the City of Clermont, the City Council of the City
of Clermont will consider and act upon a proposed amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Clermont, the same
being Ordinance No. 48, changing the Zone of the following
described property in the City of Clermont, Florida, to-wit:
From an R-2 Multiple Family District to a C-l
Co~ercial District
Block 124, according to the map of the Townsite
of Clermont, being otherwise described as Block 124
Sunset Park, according to the Official Map of the '
City of Clermont duQy filed on 4 February 1926 and
recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23 inclusive,
public records of 4ake County, Florida.
All persons interested will be heard at that time.

Published: July 19,26th,1951.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont did, in
accordance with the foregoing notice, meet in the City Hall of
the City of Clermont at 7:30 P.M. on the 7th day of AU9Ust~ A.D.,
1951, and duly considered the proposed amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Clermont, the same being Ordinance No.
48, and have heard all those present, if any there were.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont is of the
unanimous opinion that such amendment to said Zoning Ordinance
should be made, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT:
Section 1. That the following described property situate, lying
and being in the City of Clermont, Florida, and shown on the
Zoning Map of the City of Clermont to be located in Zone R-2
Multiple Family District be re-zoned, re-districted and placed in
the C-l Commercial District, t·o-wit:
Block 124, according to the map of the Townsite of
Clermont, being otherwise described as Block 124,
Sunset Park, according to the official map of the City
of Clermont duly filed on 4 February 1926 and recorded
in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23 inclusive, public records
of Lake County, Florida.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith or inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage .and approval by the Mayor.
