Pension Board Meeting
Thursday,June 20, 2013
The Board of Trustees of the City of Clermont Police Officers Retirement Plan met on Thursday, June 20, 2013
in the conference room at the Clermont Police Department. Board members present: James Wynns, Sgt. Mike
Scheller and John Baker. Also present were Joe Van Zile, Administrative Services Director, Matt Dickey as
representative from Florida League of Cities and Scott Christiansen, Counsel to the Board.
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order at 4;00 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by J. Baker and seconded by J. Wynns to approve Minutes from previous meeting on March 21, 2013.
OLD BUSINESS
None.
REPORTS
M. Dickey gave a report on the portfolio results, Quarter Ending March 31, 2013. See two reports attached,
March 32, 2013 and June 19, 2013
NEW BUSINESS
As it pertains to Release of Protected Information, Update to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, "Date of Birth"has
been added as an item that is exempt from Section 119.07(1) Inspection and Copying of Records.
In response, there has been a corresponding Addendum to the Clermont Plan's Operating Rules and
Procedures.

ATTORNEY REPORT
Counsel gave a report on various legislative actions which have passed or are under consideration, as it pertains
to pension trust funds. He also reminded the Board members to file their disclosure forms by July 2013.
BILLS AND EXPENSES FOR APPROVAL
Motion by M. Schiller and seconded by J. Baker to pay bills from 3/21/13 to 6/19/13 in the amount of
$5,991.62. Copy Attached. The following are contributions returned to Police Officers leaving service:
Patrolman Daniel G. Fought $1,850.49
Patrolman Phillip F. Thomas $ 785.59
ADJOURNMENT
Next meeting to be held September 19, 2013 at 4:00 pm in the Police Conference Room. Moved by M.
Schiller and seconded by J. Baker to adjourn.
