Constitution Week City of Clermont
Proclamation
'Whereas, the Constitution of the United States established a foundation for the
success of our nation through core beliefs such as popular sovereignty and limited
government; and
'Whereas, September 17, 2013 marks the 226th anniversary of the framing of
the Constitution of the United States of America by the constitutional convention;
and
'Whereas, it is fitting and proper to officially recognize this magnificent
document and the anniversary of its creation; and
NOW, Therefore, I, Harold S. Turville, Jr., Mayor of the City of Clermont
in the State of Florida, do hereby proclaim September 17 through 23, 2013 as
Constitution 'Week
in Clermont, Florida, and ask out citizens to reaffirm the ideals the Framers of the
Constitution had in 1787.
In 'Witness 'Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great
Seal of the City of Clermont to be affixed this 27th day of August in the year two
thousand thirteen.
