ORDINANCE NO. 29-C
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DEPOSIT OF LITTER, RUBBISH, TRASH, OR
OTHER MATERIAL ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT,ALAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR PUNISHMENT FOR
VIOLATION HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
It shall be unlawful for any person to drop, throw, release or by any
means deposit any trash, bottles, cans, paper, rubbish or any other
material upon the Streets, Highways, Parks, Playgrounds, Lakes, or
any other public or private property within the territorial bounds of
the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida.
Violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute a crime
against the peace and dignity of the City of Clermont, Florida and
violators shall be imprisoned for a period of no more than 10 (ten)
days or fined no more than $100.00 (one hundred) or both such fine and
imprisonment may be imposed.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON BECOMING A
LAW.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 13th day of June, 1967.
