CODE ORDINANCES ORDINANCE NO. l32-C N~ 385 AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING SECTION 22-10 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; DELETING THE SECOND SENTENCE OF SUBSECTION (a); REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERffivITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVrnINC l"OR SBV~~LITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT: SECTION 1. Section 22-10 (a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, is hereby amended by deleting the second sentence of subsection (a) and hereby reads as follows: It shall be unlawful for any taxicab operating within the city limits of the ci~y to carry more than five passengers at anyone time, or to carry passengers on the running boards, fenders, or any exterior portion of the taxicab. SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. Should any section or part of a section be declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be insepar- able in meaning and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law, and it shall become law and take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its Second Reading and Final Passage.
