Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra City of CCermont

Whereas, sixty percent of adults express interest in classical music and nearly
one-third of adults fit classical music into their lives; and
Whereas, in 2005 Guy Saint-Clair and his wife, Audrey Sanders came to Lake
County from their home in Europe; and
Whereas, in that same year they established Lake County's first professional
symphony orchestra; and
Whereas, this not-for-profit orchestra features sixty professional musicians
from all over the world; and
Whereas, The Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra is going into their 10th
season;
Now, Therefore, Be It ProcCaimedthat the City of Clermont expresses
its appreciation to The Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra for enhancing the
culture of Clermont residents.
In 'Witness Whereof, I, Gail L. Ash, Mayor of the City of Clermont, set my
hand and caused the Great Seal of the City of Clermont to be affixed this 9th day
of December in the year two thousand fourteen.
