RESOLUTION NO. 2016-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR PLANNING AND
ZONING, BUILDING SERVICES, FIRE REVIEW AND INSPECTION SERVICES,
PARKS AND RECREATION, POLICE AND CITY CLERK USER FEES;
REPEALING ALL PRIOR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont pursuant to its authority as a municipal corporation under the laws
of the State of Florida, has the authority to establish and collect fees for planning and zoning, building
services, fire review and inspection services, parks and recreation use, police and city clerk;and
WHEREAS, the adoption of fees as set forth herein, is consistent with Clermont City Code Section
86.112, is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Clermont and the cost effective, efficient, and
appropriate operation of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the.City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The City Council does hereby adopt the City of Clermont Fee Schedule for planning and zoning,
building services, fire review and inspection services, parks and recreation use, police and city clerk
fees as set forth in Schedule A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. The schedule in its entirety
shall be kept in the office of the City Clerk and shall be available for public review as reasonably
appropriate.
SECTION 2.
All fees as set forth in Schedule A are subject to Federal, State and local sales taxes as applicable.
SECTION 3.
Any resolution previously adopted by the City Council and in conflict herewith is hereby repealed to
the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 4.
A copy of this Resolution shall be kept on file in the City Clerk's office and made available to the
public upon request.
SECTION 5.
This resolution shall take effect January 1, 2017.
