ORDINANCE NO. 89-M
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING
AND PERMANENTLY ABANDONING A PORTION OF WEST AVENUE
DESCRIBED HEREIN, ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP OF
THE CITY OF CLERMONT, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 8, PAGES
17 TO 23, INCLUSIVE, PUB tiC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA: PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE: AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:

That portion of West Avenue lying due West of the following"1L':~;~
described line: From the point of intersection of the centér~ '

lines of West Avenue and Juniata Street, according to the
official map of the City of Clermont, as recorded in Plat
Book 8, pages 17 to 23, inclusive, Public Records of Lake
County, Florida, run thence North 89 degrees 49~ West along
the center line of Juniata Street 19.43' to point of beginning;
thence run South 42 degrees 56' 30" West 142.01 feet; thence
on a 473.41 foot radius curve to the left, the central angle
of said curve being 6 degrees 00', an arc distance of 49.58
feet; thence on a 194.54 foot radius curve to the left, the
central angle of said curve being 43 degrees 38' 40", an arc
distance of 148.19 feet; thence on a 203.41 foot radius curve
to the left, the central angle of said curve being 30 degrees
39' 20", an arc distance of 108.83 feet; run thence South
37 degrees 21' 30" East 65.68 feet; thence on a 444.1 foot
radius curve to the left, the central angle of said curve being
9 degrees 54', an arc distance of 76.73 feet; thence South
47 degrees IS' 30" East 5.56 feet, more or less, to a point
SO feet West of the center line of West Avenue extended South
from the point of intersection of the center lines of West
Avenue and Juniata Street.

SECTION II.
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the
City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and the general laws of the
State of Florida.
SECTION II I.
This Ordinance shall be posted and published as provided by
law and it shall become law and take effect thirty (30) days from the
date of its second reading and final passage.
