AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORInrlG:, AND CONFIRMING THE SALE OF THE FORMER CITY HALL TO THE
DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS DEPARTMENT OF FLORIDA FOR THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF
$12,000.00
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, FLORIDA HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
Section 1.
That the Council does hereby approve, authorize and ratify the sale of
the former City Hall, more particularly described as:
The East 39.5 feet of the South 50 feet of Lot 10, Block 80,
according to the official map of the City of Clermont, filed 2-4-26
and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17-23 inclusive, Public Records
of Lake County, Florida,
to the Disabled American Veterans Department of Florida for the total purchase price
of $12,000.00 cash.
Section 2.
That the Mayor, Don E. Smith, and the City Clerk, Dolores Carroll, be
and they hereby are authorized to execute a Warranty Deed to the Disabled American
Veterans Department of Florida.
Section 3.
This Ordinance shall be posted by law and it shall become law and shall
take effect immediately upon its being posted as provided by law.
First reading this 8th day of August, 1972.
Second reading this 22nd day of August, 1972.
