ORDINANCE NO. 32-M
AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET, PARTIALLY
SURROUNDING LAKE WINONA, ALL. ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT.
THE CITY OF CLERMONT HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1:
That certain portion of an unnamed street which partially
surrounds Lake Winona and which is bounded.as follows,
to-wit: All that portion of said unnamed street which
lies East of a line extended due South from Northeast
corner of Block 87 to the water's edge of Lake Winona and
which lies West of a line extended due South from the
Southwest corner of Lot 17 of Block 88 to the water's
edge of Lake Winona be and the same is hereby closed and
forever abandoned; PROVIDED HOWEVER, that the city does
hereby reserve unto itself an easement twenty-five (25)
feet in width lying within said street easterly from the
line extended due South from the Northeast corner of Block
87 to the water's edge of Lake Winona, said easement may
be used for any purpose whatsoever.
SECTION 2:
If any article, section, clause or provision of this Ordinance
be deemed or held invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction for
any reason or cause, the same shall not affect or invalidate the whole
of this Ordinance, nor any part thereof, other than that particular
provision deemed or held invalid.
SECTION 3:
All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances, in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
This Ordinance shall be posted by law and it shall become law
and shall take effect immediately upon its being posted as provided by
law.

Gentlemen:

It has come to my attention that you have abandoned
and permanently closed the unnamed street on the North
side of Lake Winona from Seminole Street to the Eastern
boundary of Block 71. In view of this previous action
I respectfully request that this same unnamed street
also be closed in front of my property, or from its
present termination to the eastern boundary of Lot 16,
B1cok 88.
