Boat Ramp Alternatives Analysis for USACE Permitting
Clermont, Florida
Dear Mr. Kinzler:
GAI Consultants, Inc. ("GAI" or"the Consultant") is submitting this Supplemental Request to the original
Agreement dated August 4, 2016 for Professional Services to the City of Clermont ("the Client")for the
above-referenced project. This proposal reflects the anticipated Scope and related costs for services to
be provided.
Supplement Understanding
The U.S. Amy Corps of Engineers (USACE) has requested responses to questions dated 21 September
2017 and 22 September 2017, as well as an alternatives analysis, as part of the review of the permit
application for the referenced boat ramp project. This will require the compilation of collected data,
development of a response document, and subsequent coordination with USACE staff to respond to
questions or provide additional information.
Scope of Services
Based on our understanding of the project requirements/criteria provided to date by the Client, GAI will
perform the following described Scope of Services:
1.0 Respond to September 2017 Requests for Additional Information
1.1 Prepare narrative responses to the USACE's Requests for Additional Information (RAI) dated 21
and 22 September 2017 regarding the public interest test, the potential for occurrence of federally
listed species, and revisions to the mitigation estimate under the Unified Mitigation Assessment
Method (UMAM)workbooks.
2.0 Alternatives Analysis
2.1 Prepare an Alternatives Analysis of the potential boat ramp sites reviewed by the City of Clermont
in accordance with the USACE's document Information for Preparing an Alternatives Analysis
Under Section 404 dated June 2014.
3.0 Coordination
3.1 Coordinate with USACE staff to review the RAI and Alternatives Analysis submittals, and prepare
responses to any additional question that USACE staff may have relative to the submittals.

Compensation
Compensation for services rendered by GAI will be on a lump sum basis in accordance with the rates
agreed to and incorporated into the Agreement between GAI and the Client dated August 4, 2016.
Tasks Description Method of Payment Fee
1.0-3.0 RAI Responses and Alternatives Analysis Lump Sum $2,800
Total Fee $2,800
Reimbursable Expenses
Reimbursable expenses may include in-house and out-of-house projected such as mileage. Reproduction
will be provided by GAI for. Reimbursable Expenses are estimated at$30.
Reimbursable expenses will be invoiced separately on an actual cost basis.
