~2.ESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the death of any employee of
this city dying without a burial space in the city's cemetery the city will,
upon the request of the spouse or heirs of the deceased, provide, without
cost, a burial space for the employee in the city cemetery; and, if the
employee ,dies leaving a spouse, the city will reserve the adjoining space
for the spouse. Alike provision will be made for the deceased spouse of
an employee and a reservation for the employee.
BE IT RESOLVED , that if the employee dries without leaving
a spouse only the burial space for the employee will be provided, unless
the heirs of the employee will, at the same time, purchase for cash add-
itional burial spaces.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city shall select the
burial space and/or reserved space hereinabove provided for, however,
in the event the spouse, employee and/or heirs should desire differently
located space or spaces than selected by the city in the city's cemetery,
the respective spouse, employee and/or heirs shall pay in cash the difference
in the cost thereof.
