RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on February 2nd, 1960 the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, adopted a Resolution for Street Improve-
- ments & Special Assessments for the clearing, grading, filling, raising,
paving, curbing and draining of the following streets in said City, to-wit:
_ SETTLE STREET; and,
DESOTO STREET between Second
.Street and East Avenue,
and on February 4th and llth, 1960 published in the Clermont Press, a
weekly newspaper published in said city, a Notice of Hearing on Proposed
Improvements & Levy of Special Assessments, and also on February 4,
1960 mailed a copy of said Notice to each of the owners of the real property
in said City .abutting said respective streets; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution and Notice a hearing
was held on February 16, 1960 by said Council. sitting as an Equalizing
Board to hear and consider any and all complaints thereon, and there being
only one complainant, William W. Boyd, who appeared at said meeting and who
registered a complaint on the total assessment of $156.54 as levied and assessed
against Lot 26, Point Place, as more fully described. in said Resolution and
Notice, and at the conclusion of said hearing the said council sitting as said
Equalizing Board confirmed all of the special assessments as originally made
in said Resolution of February 2, 1960, save and except the special
assessment against said Lot 26, Point Place, owned by William W. Boyd
and wife, Juanita Boyd, in the total amount of $156.54 which special assessment
was found to be in error and then and there reduced by said Council to the total
sum of $133.54 to allow for shortage of paving and curbing; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida, that all Special Assessments levied and assessed by the
Resolution of said Council dated February 2, 1960 against the various and
several lots, pieces or parcels of real property therein more fully described
abutting the following described streets in the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, to-wit:
SETTLE STREET; and,
DESOTO STREET between second street
and East Avenue,
be and the same are hereby confirmed, EXCEPT as to the total special
assessment against Lot 26, Point Place which assessment is hereby reduced
from $156.54 to $133.54; and be it,
FURTHER RESOLVID by the said Council that all of said special
assessment liens as originally levied and as herein above amended, altered,
corrected and changed shall henceforth remain legal, valid and binding liens
upon and against each and every lot, piece and parcel of real property in the
respective amounts until same are fully paid.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida at its Regular Meeting held on ril 1960, in said city.

of explanation, copies of same being hereto attached and made a part of
this Certificate, which have been mailed on this date by Certified Mail
with Return Receipt requested, mailing same to the above named parties
at their respective addresses shown above, in a separate envelope, (one
envelope addressed to husbands and wives), affixing thereto the
required United States Postage and depositing same for mailing
in the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, this February 3,
