RESOhUTION FOR DESTRUCTION OF DELINC~UENT TAX NOTES OF CITY OF CLERMONT
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont by and through the members of
its City Council as of July 1, 1939 refunded its then existing bonded
indebtedness for all delinquent interest on said bonds refunded issued
Delinquent Tax Notes in the amount of delinquent interest on said
bond; and
WHEREAS, said delinquent Tax Notes could be used in the payment
of delinquent taxes and were redeemable by the city at 10¢ on the
dollar and most of them have been so used and redeemed and should be
destroyed to make additional room in the vault for other city records;
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont
that the following Delinquent Tax Notes heretofore redeemed and/or
canceled, shall be destroyed by burning in the presence of all Council-
men, the Mayor, the City Clerk, and the Chief of Police; to-wit:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon the destruction of said
Delinquent Tax Notes, as hereinbefore directed, the City Council, Mayor,
City Clerk and Chief of Police present at the burning of same do
certify to same on this Resolution and that this Resolution be made
a permanent part of the records of this City and a copy be furnished
the City Auditor.

We, the undersigned, do hereby certify that on
we were present at and tcok part in the destruction by fire of the
above described Delinquent Tax Notes.
