NO. 36
WHEREAS, the Farm to Market Road more definitely designated as
Federal Aid Project, #185B, extending from Anderson Street in a
Southwesterly direction to intersect with State Road 561, appr~xi-
mately six (6) miles in a Southwesterly direction of the City of
Clermont,Lake County, Florida, is constructed along the East
boundary of Lake Minnehaha, upon which beautiful homes are located,
large bearing citrus groves are planted, and South thereof extends
through a portion of the largest citrus area of the South end of
Lake County and is constantly in use by not only the general traveling
public but by residents, fruit trucks, fertilizer trucks and other
heavy equipment; and, the resurfacing and/or rebuilding of said
road is vitally necessary to the economy of those living on or
near said road, as well as those owning property thereon, as well
as to the general economy of South Lake County, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
that the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County, Florida,
be requested to place on their priority list the resurfacing and/or
rebuilding of the said Farm to Market Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two certified copies of this
Resolution be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners at
their office in Tavares, Lake County, Florida.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont at a
Special Meeting held on February 11, 1965.
