A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE VACATING OF A PORTION OF THE PLAT
OF MINNEHAHA SHORES, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF CLERMONT, ACCORDING
TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 12, PAGE 29, PUBLIC RECORDS
OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, THE SAVANNAHS, INC., a Florida corporation, is the fee
simple title owner of a portion of the Plat of Minnehaha Shores, a
subdivision in the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, according
to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 12, page 29, Public Records
of Lake County, Florida, more particularly described in Appendix "A"
attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, THE SAVANNAHS, INC., a Florida corporation, has duly
petitioned the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to vacate that
portion of the above-described plat as more particularly described
in Appendix "A" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, has determined that THE SAVANNAHS, INC., a Florida corporation,
is the fee simple title owner of the above-described property and has
caused to be published the appropriate legal notice in a newspaper
of general circulation in the county in which the property is located
pursuant to Chapter 177, Florida Statutes, and that all other applicable
provisions of Chapter 177, Florida Statutes, have been duly complied
with, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, has determined that the vacation of the above-described
property shall not affect the ownership or right of convenient access
of persons owning other parts of the subdivision and none of the
streets or alleys shown on the plat have become highways or streets
necessary for use by the traveling public.
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that a portion of the Plat of Minn~aha~

Public Records of Lake County, Florida, as described in Appendix "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby vacated and returned
to acreage pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 177, Florida Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this vacation shall become effective
at such time as a certified copy of this resolution has been duly
filed in the office of the Circuit Court, Lake County, Florida, and
duly recorded in the public records.
Passed and Ordained by the City Council of the City of Clermont,
