R-65-043 RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 43 • N~ 70 WHEREAS, on April 20, 1965 the Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, adopted a Resolution for Street Improvements and Special Assessments for clearing, grading, filling, raising, paving, curbing and draining: Bloxam Avenue from Highlands Avenue to Desoto Street, and Desoto Street from Bloxam Avenue to Scott Street and on April 8 and 15,1965 published in the South Lake Press, a weekly news paper of general circulation published in C~~rmont, Florida, a notice of Hearing of Proposed Improvements and Levy of Special Assessments for same and on April 9, 1965 mailed a copy of said notice to all record owners and mortgagees and lien holders of real property abutting the abo~~~_r~- described streets; and WHEREAS, with said Resolution and Notice the Council sitting as a Board of Equalization held a hearing at 7:30 P. M. on April 20, 1965 to hear and consider all complaints and as one complaint was registered the meeting was adjourned until May 4, 1965 at 7:30 P. M. in order that the complaint could be investigated, and WHEREAS, the Council sitting as a Board of Equalization held a continua- tion of the Public hearing adjourned from April 20, 1965, determined that the complaints which they had considered and investigated were not justified, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, that all Special Assessments levied and assessed by the Resolution adopted April 20, 1965 against the various lots and parcels of real property abutting Bloxam Avenue, between Highlands Avenue and Desoto Streets and Desoto Street, between Bloxam Avenue and Scott Street, Clermont, Florida, be and the same are hereby approved and confirmed; and BF=iT FURTHER RESOLVED that all Special Assessment liens as originally levied shall be and remain valid, binding and subsisting liens against each and every lot and parcel of property in the respective amounts until same are fully paid. ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Clermont,Lake County, Florida, at its regular meeting held on May 4, 1965.
