WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida has applied to the Department
of housing and Urban Development for a Grant to aid in the construction
of a Sanitary Sewer System for the City and
ti+IfiEREAS, there has been much delay an~_, uncertainty in the avail-
ability of such funds and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont has been advised that there will be
further delay in such Application and that the results are uncertain
at best and
60HEREAS, the City Council leas deemed it wise and exf~edient to
proceed with the Sewer project ~.7ithout waiting for t:ie outcome of
such Grant Application and
~-~7HE REAS, the City of Clermont has also applied for a Public Facility
Loan far the same Project, said Application being presently delayed
because of the delay in the Grant R,pplication:
