RESOLUTIONS N ° 18 4
NO. 125
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida is contemplating the
construction of sewer facilities to service its citizenry, and
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont has applied for aid in the
project from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
WHEREAS, said agency has requested that the City obtain the
services of a Government approved Bonding Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City has contacted the law firm of Bryant, Freeman,
Richardson & Watson, a Government approved firm, concerning employment
of the same for such bonding purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City has received an offer from said firm for
such employment and has found the same to be acceptable.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, does hereby employ said law firm
of BRYANT, FREEMAN, RICHARDSON, & WATSON to act for and in its behalf
in pursuit of its bonding requirements as prescribed by the Department
of Housing and Urban Development according to the terms and conditions
of said firm's offer which is attached hereto and by reference made
a part hereof.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, held this 12th day of March, 1968.

. with your City Attorney, fi'ir. Langley, this firm will be pleased
to serve as bond counsel for your proposed sewer financing
with the United States Department of_ Rousing and Urban Develop-
n;ent .
We understand that revenue bonds in the amount of
approximately $1,300,000 and special assessment bonds in the
amount of approximately $500,000 are contemplated. Our fee
would approximate $20,000, plus reimburserlent for such expenses
as long distance telephone calls, traveling to closing in
Atlanta, xero.:ing, etc. In every case our fee must be approved
by the Government,
We trust that these arrangements will be acceptable,
and we look forward to hearing further from you in this connection.
