Choice of Champions'
WHEREAS, educating the public and health care providers about the importance of a
healthy lifestyle and early detection of male health problems will result in reducing rates of
morality from diseases; and
WHEREAS, fathers who maintain a healthy lifestyle are role models for their children;
and
' V3-LERE.9IS, National Men's Health Week and the Drive for Men's Health is a special
campaign to help educate men and their families about the importance of positive health
attitudes and preventative health care; and
1NHEREAS, the citizens of Clermont are encouraged to increase awareness of the
importance of a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise and medical check-ups;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor
of the City of Clermont, I do hereby proclaim the month of June, 2019 as
