t~JHEREAS, on September 10, 1968, the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, adopted a Resolution for street improvements
and special assessments for cleaning, grading, filling, r~TSinq, paving,
and curbing of Second Street from Eroome to !?eSoto Street, a distance of
approximately 690 feet, and
tJl-iEREAS, on October 31, 1963 published in the South Lake Press, a
~,reekl_y newspaper of general circulation puhlished in Clermont, Florida, a
I~lotice of Hearing on Proposed Improvements and Levy of Special ?ssessments
for same, and on October 29, 1968, mailed a copy of said notice to all
record owners of the real property abutting the ahove descrihed street,
and
b1HEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution and notice the City
Council sitting as an Equalizing !~oard held a hearing at R:ftO P. r', on
P!ovember 12, 1968, to hear and consider complaints, and
l~!NEREAS, follo~A~ing the Nearing it was the opinion of the City
Council that the Special ,'!ssessments were fair and equitahle, therefore
E?E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida, that all Special Assessments levied and assessed by the
Resolution adopted September lO, 1963, against the various lots and
parcels of real property abutting Second Street from !'roome to ^eSoto Street,
a distance of approximately 690 feet, be and the same are herehy approved
and confirmed, and
QE IT FARTHER RESOLVED that all Special ~.ssessment liens as
originally levied shall be and remain a valid, binding and suhsistinn lien
against each and every lot and parcel of property in the respective amounts
until same are fully paid.
