RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION N0. 331
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW USE
OF EXISTING BUILDINGS AS A CABINET SHOP AND GENERAL MILLWORK
OPERATION.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, at its meeting held on June 5, 1979 recommended approval of a Conditional Use
Permit to allow use of existing buildings as a cabinet shop and general millwork
operation, as hereinafter set forth, by a unanimous vote, and the City Council deems
it advisable in the interest of the general welfare of the City of Clermont,Lake
County, Florida to grant the Conditional Use Permit:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1.
That the application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow use as a cabinet shop
and general millwork operation of the existing buildings located on Lots 8 and 10, City
Block 80, commonly known as 732 Montrose Street, be granted subject to the following
conditions:
1) No undesirable odors or loud noise shall be heard outside of the building.
Any such odors or noise that creates a nuisance to abutting property
owners shall constitute prima facie evidence that this condition has been
violated;
2) That the loading/unloading of manufacturing materials be confined to the
rear of the building;
3) That all materials, manufacturing, retailing, and storage be held within
a completely enclosed building;
4) Specific plan of action as far as addressing the appearance of the
building be submitted;
5) Specific plan for landscaping the open area be submitted;
6) That all applicable regulations and ordinances be met;
7) That the use not be expanded except with a Conditional Use Permit; and
8) That a Certificate of Occupancy be issued only after all conditions are met.
