R-70-166C7 RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NUMBER 166 • N~ 239 WHEREAS, Albert M. Johnson, an employee of the City of Clermont for the past tarenty ~~ears has reached the age for retirement and will retire on December 3j, 1970, and WHEREAS, the aforesaid Albert M. Johnson is a member of the Clermont Pension Plan and as such is entitled to receive monthly benefits in the amount of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars and Ninety Cents ($150.90), and 6JHEREAS, the aforeaid Albert M. Johnson did elect to receive benefits in the form of a Joint and Survivor Annuity thereby reducing his monthly benefits by one third and so advised the City Council of the City of Clermont and received permission therefrom, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Clermont that the Trust Department of the First National Bank of Leesburg, Florida, Trustee for the Clermont Pension Plan, he authorized and directed to pay from the General Employees fund of the Clermont Pension Plan to the aforesaid Albert M, Johnson the amount of One Hundred Dollars and Sixty Cents ($100.60) each month beginning on January 1, 1971 and continuing until his death, and that upon his death his wife, Lucy Johnson, should she survive him shall be paid a like amount ($100.60) on the first of each month until her death. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon the death of both the aforementioned Albert M. Johnson and his wife, Lucy Johnson, the Controller and/or City Clerk of the City of Clermont shall notify the Trust Department of the First ~lational !'ank of Leesburg, Florida, that the afore authorized benefits are to cease.
