R-75-262• RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION N0, 262 • N~ 393 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADJUSTING CERTAIN SEWER ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE LEVIED IN MINNEHAHA ESTATES SUBDIVISION, IN ORDER THAT THE SAME SHALL CONFORM TO THE ASSESSMENT PLAT AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL PREPARED BY THE CITY OF CLERMONT'S CONSULTING ENGINEERS. WHEREAS, THE City Council of the City of Clermont passed on February 25, 1975, Resolution No. 253, determining to make certain local sewer improvements in Minnehaha Estates Subdivision (Special Improvement District No. ), in the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, and adopting the assessment plat and plans and specifications submitted by the cons ulting engineers; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont did meet on the 8th day of April, A. D. 1975, for the purpose of equalizing said assessments; and WHEREAS, on the 15th day of April, A. D. 1975, the City Council of the City of Clermont did enact Emergency Ordinance No. 73-M, thereby equalizing and levying the assessments in accordance with the Special Assessment Roll; and WHEREAS, it has become apparent that a mathematical error was made in the computation of assesments against several parcels in the assessment district; and WHEREAS, the City of Clermont is prohibited by law from increasing, but not decreasing, those assessments over the amounts as shown on the original assessment plat prepared by the Michaels-Stiggins Engineering Company. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA: 1. The assessments as shown on the original assessment plat prepared by Michaels-Stiggins in the Minnehaha Estates Subdivision (Special Improvement District No. 1) against the real properties owned by the following names persons be, and they are hereby adjust as follows: Property 2/3 Int in Lot 6, Blk A Owner Ruth L.
