A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE
COUNTY, FLORIDA GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A
HELl-STOP IN THE C-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning commission of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida at a meeting held October 3, 1989,
recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit to allow the
operation of a Heli-Stop in the C-2 General Commercial District.
LOCATION: 141 N. ,Highway 27
The City Council deems it advisable in the interest of the general
welfare of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida to grant the
Conditional Use Permit;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of Clermont, Lake County, Florida that:
SECTION 1.
The application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the
operation of a Heli-stop in the C-2 General Commercial District be
granted subject to the following conditions:
CONDITIONS:
1. The property must be developed in substantial accordance with
an approved site plan.
2. If, at a future date, parking at this site proves inadequate,
the applicant understands and agrees that the city may require
additional parking or rescind this Conditional Use Permit.
3. No further expansion of the use or additions to this facility
shall be permitted except as approved by another Conditional Use
Permit.
4. All applicable rules and regulations shall be met, including
final site plan approval, landscaping, drainage, parking and sign
regulations, and all yard setbacks. All required landscaping must
be served with a permanent irrigation system and must be properly
maintained. The drainage and stormwater retention requirements of
the appropriate regulatory agencies must be met, and approved by
the City Engineer. These areas must be properly maintained.
5. This property may be used as a HELI-STOP ONLY only. No other
business operation may be conducted from this facility.
6. The final certificate of Occupancy cannot be issued until
each of the stated conditions has been met.
7. This permit shall expire if construction has not begun within
one year of the date of this Conditional Use Permit.
8. site plan approval will be required for the construction of

9. The use will be utilized in conjunction with the Citrus Tower
only as an attraction. Under no circumstances will an air taxi
service or any other use not consistent with the intent of this
request be operated from this location.

10. Fire protection will be provided in accordance with local,
state and federal codes.
11. Hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 7 days
a week only.
12. Pad A will setback a minimum of 100 feet from US 27.
13. No permanent fueling stations will be permitted and no
permanent storage of the aircraft on premises will be permitted.
14. If any of the stated conditions are violated, the applicant
understands and agrees that the City Council may revoke this
Conditional Use Permit by resolution.
15. The Conditional Use Permit shall expire one (1) year from the
date of execution by the applicant.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA ON THIS 24th DAY OF OCTOBER,1989.
