A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA"
ESTABLISHING A FRANCHISE FEE FOR COMMERCIAL GARBAGE 'COLLECTION:
WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, from time to time, grants
non-exclusive franchises for the collection of garbage, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont has determined
that it is in the best interest of the City to charge a garbage
collection franchise fee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida that:
The following garbage collection franchise fee schedule is established:
EFFECTIVE DATE

Effective upon adoption of Resolution 41542
Effective December 1 , 1987
Effective December 1 , 1988

7.5%
10.0%
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the franchise fees shall be calculated
on gross monthly billings and remitted to the City of Clermont monthly.
