AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
SUBSECTION (F) OF SECTION 26-24 OF APPENDIX OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES AND AMENDING SUBSECTION (F) OF
SECTION 26-25 OF APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES;
ALLOWING AS CONDITIONAL USE MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLINGS
IN C-l ZONING DISTRICTS AND C-2 ZONING DISTRICTS;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
SECTION 1. Subsection (F) of Section 26-24 of Appendix A of
the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding a new subsection numbered
nine (9) to read as follows:
(9) Multiple Family Dwellings provided that no dwelling unit
therein contains less than 500 sq. ft. of living area and the
total ground area of all structures does not exceed 35% of said
lot area.
SECTION 2. Subsection (f) of Section 26-25 of Appendix A
of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding a new subsection
numbered five (5) to read as follows:
(5) Multiple Family Dwellings provided that no dwelling
unit hterein contains less than 500 sq. ft. of living area and
the total ground area of all structures does not exceed 35% of
said lot area.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. Shoûld any section or part of this section be
declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such adjudications
shall not apply or affect any other provision of this Ordinance, except to
the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable
in meaning and effect from the section towhich such holding shall apply.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be published as provided
by law and it shall become law and shall take effect 30 days from the date
of its Second Reading and Final Passage.
