Special Meeting of Clermont Council called to order by President
Brantley
Roll cal all members present.
Object of meeting to get permission to build a frame building
on block 77 also to pass or reject franchise of L H Jansen (sp?)
for electric light system.
Minutes of special meeting of May 8th 1917 read and approved.
Moved by Mr Goodenough (sp?) that the franchise for electric
light plant be laid on the table until next regular meeting of the
council. It being out of order to introduce bills at special meeting
of the Council, as for rule nine (*). Carried.
Moved by Mr Johnson that the Electric Light franchise be discussed
more fully this evening. Carried.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.
