Regular meeting of Clermont Council called to order by Pres
Brantley.
Roll call all present except Mr Morrison.
Minutes of meeting of May 4th read and approved.
Finance Com, Mr Johnson reports on measuring rail roads in
town streets.
Street Com , Mr Goodenough presented letter from Mr
Brockway relating to gift from Mrs Kehlor of lots 13 to 20 in
block 50 for Park purposes.
Moved by Mr Goodenough that they Mayor and Town Council
in behalf of the citizens of the Town of Clermont accept the
Park as a gift from Mrs Kehlor which in future shall be known
as Kehlor Park. That they also extend to Mr Brockway and
members of the immediate family their sincere thanks and
appreciation for this beautiful gift. Carried.
Sanitation, Mr Johnson reports on sanitation.
Moved thaty sanitary ordinance be laid on the table. Carried.
Charity and Schools, no report.
Collector reports $295.20 collected. Report accepted.
Treasurer reports balance on hand $611.84. That collections
$305.26. Paid out $180.67. Bal on hand $736.37.
Report accepted.
Moved that all bills presented at this meeting be paid.
Carried.
Moved that committee be appointed to investigate ownership
of submerged land. Carried.
Moved that Assessor Mills get railroad business in shape
and send to Tallahassee. Carried.
Petition of H L Johnson and others to hand surface Osceola
St from 5th st to 7th st and 7th St from Osceola north to clay
road was granted.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.
