Clermont, Fla Dec 10 – 1918
Special Meeting of Clermont Council called to order by
President Brantley for the purpose of removing Marshall Free
and for offering reward for the apprehension of parties
committing various depredations and act of vandalism in
Town.
Roll call. Mesrs Brantley, Goodenough, Morrison and Wilson
present.
Moved that Marshal Free be removed and W B Dreggars be
appointed, his appointment to commence Dec 14. Carried.
Moved that Clerk be authorized to notify Mr Free of his
removal and to have him turn over all Town property in his
possession to Mayor Roe. Carried.
Moved that the Town of Clermont offer a reward of $5.00 for
the apprehension of various persons in town committing
depredations such as cutting clothes, Auto tires, and using
Town Hall for a toilet. Carried.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.

Clermont Council called to order by Pres Brantley in Special
session for the purpose of counting ballots cast at Town
election on Dec 10 – 1918.
Mesrs Brantley, Goodenough, Wilson, Johnson and Morrison
present.

Councilman Hw Wilson 20 votes
Councilman Goodenough 18 votes.
Marshall W B Driggers 20 votes
Clerk S S Fisler 19 votes
Assessor L R Mills 20 votes
Collector H F Bailey 19 votes
Treasurer R G Winston 20 votes.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.
