Adjourned meeting from April 6th called to order by Pres
Goodenough.
Roll call, All members present.
Moved that relating to removing sand or clay be adopted.
Ordinance No 32
An ordinance to Prohibit the taking or carrying away of sand,
clay or earth from the land of another without the permission
of the owner and providing penalties for the violation thereof.
Be it ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Clermont,
Lake Co, Florida.
Sec 1. That after the passage of this ordinance, it shall be
unlawful for any person, except the owner or with the
permission of the owner, to take away any sand, clay or earth
from any land situated in the Town of Clermont, Lake Co.
Florida.
Sec 2. Any person violating this ordinance shall upon
conviction be fined not more than $250.00 or imprisonment
not more than 60 days, or both at the description of the Mayor.
Passed in open Council this 20th day of April 1920.

Moved that the rules be suspended and the above ordinance
be passed as read. Carried.
Moved that the water tank be located at or near the
intersection of 2nd and Chestnut Sts. Carried.
Moved that Messers Boyd and Gibson be instructed to
continue survey for water works from NW 5th St along
Chestnut to 2nd St. Carried.
Sharp and Munson be appointed committee to investigate
prices on pipe and pump for water works system.
Committee on purchase of Electric Light Plant continued.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.
