Regular Meeting of Clermont Council called to order by Mr
Munson
Roll call, all present except Mr Goodenough.
Minutes of meeting of April 6th read and approved.
Reports from Committees. Finance, no report.
Street Com, Mr Sharp reports that about one hundred yards
spread on 4th street and some patching and reports on
locating clay pit.
Park Com, no report. Charity and Schools, no report. Rules
and Ordinances, no report. Street Com reports on water
works. Com Continued.
Collector reports taxes collected two hundred twenty six and
65/00 ($226.65) dollars. License three 00/00 ($3.00) dollars
total. Two hundred twenty nine and 65/00 ($229.65) dollars.
Report accepted.
Treasurer reports on hand One Thousand and seventy and
56/00 ($1,070.56) dollars collected. Two hundred twenty
Nine and 65/00 ($229.65) dollars. Paid out Four Hundred
Fifty Four and 15/00 ($454.15) dollars. On hand Eight
Hundred Forty Six ($846.06) dollars including time (****) One
Thousand three hundred forty six 06/00 ($1,346.06) dollars.
Report accepted.
Clerk reports on cases tried by Mayor. Report accepted.
Moved that the Town refund to S B Brantley one half of taxes
on lot 6 -23 -22-25 of taxes for year of 1918. Carried.
Com on Electric lights continued.
Bills ordered paid.
