Regular Meeting of Clermont Council called to order by
President of Council Goodenough.
Roll call, Mr Wilson, Johnson and Goodenough present.
Minutes of meeting of June 1st read and approved.
Report of Committees, no reports made
Report of Officers. Collector Reports taxes received $40.00.
Advertising $9.60. For clay on 5th St $178.36. Report
accepted as read.
Report of Treas accepted as read.
Marshal reports that all bills for clay on 5th Sthad been
presented and had promise of payment on or before July 6th.
Report accepted.
Clerk reports on receipt of Willis Deed and also asked for
instructions as to (******) registration lists.
New business Mrs Tarphy brought up matter of license on
store.
Mr Boyd present as Committee from Board of Trade in
regard to securing baskets.
Moved that C W Roe, L R Mills and W B McCain be
nominated and placed on tickets for Bond Trustees at the
coming election on August 3rd for Water Works and Town
Hall. Carried.
Moved that Mr Goodenough be appointed a committee to
secure tickets for the coming bond election. Carried.
Moved to pay W E Rovaburghs bill less $1.50. Carried.
Bills paid Rovabaugh $17.30. S S Fisler $3.30. C C Lee
$25.00. W Kern $11.50. Electric Co $129.00.
Moved to adjourn. Carried.
