Dear Mr. Satterwhite:
At the regular meeting of the City Council on flay ,1'l, 1971,
Dr. J. R. Peacock requested that the city consider selling
to him that city owned property south of his property and
north of yours; namely, the dedicated street and Lot 1,
Block 1261, Sunset Park.
The City plans to close the street which would give Dr.
Peacock the north 15' of the 30 foot street. This would leave
65 feet of city owned property. The sanitary sewer line
is being constructed in the south 20 feet of Lot 1 which
is adjacent to your property.
Before the city actually sells the r,.na ng 45 feet (15
feet from the street closing and 30 feet from Lot 1), I
would like to discuss this matter with your.
Please let me know when it would be convenient for you to
discuss this matter with me either at my office or your
residence.
Attached is a drawing showing the property under discussion
outlined in red.
Sincerely,
Robert M. Hopkins
City Manager
