10-06-1994 Special Meeting CITY OF CLERMONT MINUTES SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER ti, 1994 A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont was held Thursday, October 6, 1994 in the City Hall Conference Room. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Pool with the following Council Members present: Council Member Turville, and Council Member Ivey. Other City officials present were City Manager Saunders, Planning Director Harker and City Engineer Springstead. Canvassing the Ballots Mayor Pool stated the purpose of the Special Meeting was to Canvass the Ballots of the Primary Election that was held October 4, 1994 for Clermont City Council Seat #2. City Manager Saunders stated that a tally of the votes was received from Lake County Elections Supervisor Emogene Stegall for Precincts 15 and 38 and the absentee ballot count, as follows: Ann Dupee 532 Chris Giachetti 352 Joe Janusiak 142 The number of votes cast for Mrs. Dupee was over 50 % so according to our Charter, Mrs. Dupee has won the election for Seat #2. 94-180 A motion was made by Council Member Turville, seconded by Council Member Ivey., and carried unanimously to accept the ballots and declare Mrs. Dupee the winner of Council Seat #2. 94-181 A motion was made by Council Member Turville, seconded by Council Member Ivey., and carried unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 p. m.
