Mayor's Proclamation
A Special Election of the City of Clermont shall be held on the 3rd day of
November, 2020, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Eastern
Standard Time at the Clermont City Center, 620 W. Montrose Street;
Kings Ridge Clubhouse, 1900 Kings Ridge Boulevard; Legends
Clubhouse, 1690 Legendary Boulevard; Cooper Memorial Library, 2525
Oakley Seaver Drive; Family Christian Center, 2500 S. US Hwy. 27,
Summit Greens Clubhouse, 1190 Summit Greens Boulevard; Heritage
Hills Clubhouse, 3195 Heritage Hills Boulevard; Clermont Arts and
Recreation Center, 3700 S. US Hwy 27; and Clermont Baptist Church,
16115 Old Highway 50. The purpose of this election is to fill the
unexpired term for:
City Council Member Seat 4 One Year Term
Expiring 2021
If more than two candidates qualify for Seat 4, a Primary Election will be
held on November 3, 2020 in accordance with Sec. 26-7 of the City Code.
If only two candidates qualify for Seat 4, a regular election will be held on
the November 3, 2020. In the event that Primary Election is held and one
of the candidates does not receive a majority of the votes, the two
candidates for whom the highest number of votes were cast shall stand
election at a Special General Election to be held on the January 5, 2021.
