The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chair Murry.
Item No. 1- Minutes Approval
MOTION TO APPROVE the minutes of October 27 2020 made by Board Member Bates.

Item No. 2 - Annual Report
Planning & Development Services Director Curt Henschel provided the staff report for the board via
PowerPoint presentation. The staff presentation provided an overview of the annual report for the
downtown Community Redevelopment District (CRA) and highlighted several successful projects
within the previous year. Successes of the district included:
• Parking agreements to enhance parking availability in the downtown. The Fiscal Year 2021 goal
of the CRA is to continue to expand parking options.
• Streetscaping
• Construction of the boat ramp.
• Downtown Events
o 15 events occurred last year which was significantly down from the 80 events held in 2019.
This was a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Director Henschel continued the presentation by providing an overview of the CRA financials
and future plans which include affordable housing and increased downtown parking.
Item No. 3 - Resolution No. 21
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING
THE BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE 2020-2021 FISCAL YEAR.
Deputy City Clerk Lueth read the resolution by legal title into the record. Director Henschel
explained that they are amending the budget for the CRA; the CRA will allocate funding of
$460,995 for parking. He also informed the Council that they would be seeking to reestablish the
downtown as a Main Street community.
Chair Murry opened the floor for comments from the public.
Seeing no public come forth, the floor was closed.

Board Member Bates inquired about the allocation. Director Henschel explained that there is money
in the CRA reserves and per state statute they have to allocate the funds. He further explained that
if funding rules are changed at the state level, the resolution would return and would need to be
changed by the CRA Board.
Board Member Purvis said that a considerable change has occurred in the downtown parking due
to the efforts of the CRA. He supports the allocation for parking.
Board Member Bates asked if there was property that this could go towards this as well. Director
Henschel said no.
Chair Murry reminded the Council of the workshop where parking was discussed. He agreed with
Board Member Purvis that the allocation is appropriate.
MOTION TO APPROVE the CRA Resolution No. 21 amending the Fiscal Year 2021
CRA budget made by Board Member Bates. Seconded by Board Member Purvis. Passed
unanimously with all members present voicing aye.
