11-17-2020 Code Enforcement HearingCity of Clermont MINUTES CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING November 17, 2020 The City of Clermont Code Enforcement Hearing for November 17, 2020, took place in the Clermont City Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. with Special Magistrate, Andrew Lanius, presiding over the hearing. Also attending were Evie Wallace, Code Enforcement Supervisor, Glenn Mohney, Code Enforcement Officer, Dan Mantzaris, City Attorney, Curt Henschel, Development Services Director, John Kruse, Senior Planner, and Nicholas Gonzalez, Planning Coordinator. Code Enforcement Officer Wallace and Mohney, along with any of the public who may testify, was sworn in. City Attorney Dan Mantzaris stated that case C2020-000912 is in compliance and will not be heard. Case Number: C2020-000446 Respondent: Charity Bishop City Attorney Dan Mantzaris stated that this case is on the agenda for an update. He stated that the property owner did comply by the October 30, 2021 compliance date. He stated that the extended asphalt was removed. Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case. The Respondent was not present. Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-343 and 122-344, with a fine of $150 per day for every day in violation past November 18, 2021. Case Number: C2020-000927 Respondent: John & Vickie Wetzel Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case. She stated that the property is in compliance. The Respondent was not present. Disposition: In repeat violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-344 Property Maintenance, IPMC Section 301.3 Vacant Structures and Lands, 302.4 Weeds with a fine of $150 per day for the 11 days in violation from September 17 to September 28, 2020 for the amount of $1650. Case Number: C2020-000935 Respondent: Glenn Derby, LLC Code Enforcement Officer Mohney presented the case. The Respondent was not present. Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-344 Property Maintenance, IPMC Section 302.4 Weeds with a fine of $200 per day for every day in violation past December 4, 2020. With no further scheduled hearings, the hearing adjourned at 1:46 pm. 1
