CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING
July 16, 2019
The City of Clermont Code Enforcement Hearing for July 16, 2019, took place in the Clermont
City Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. with Special Magistrate, Andrew Lanius, presiding over the
hearing. Also attending were Matthew Reusch, Code Enforcement Supervisor, Katherine Neill,
Code Enforcement Officer, Dan Mantzaris, City Attorney, Curt Henschel, Development Services
Director, John Kruse, Senior Planner, and Rosalee Cohen, Administrative Assistant.
Code Enforcement Officer Reusch and Neill, along with any of the public who may testify, was
sworn in.
City Attorney Dan Mantzaris stated
Case Number: C2017-000305 Respondent: Tiproel LLC ET AL
Code Enforcement Officer Neill presented the case.
The Respondent was present and was sworn in.
Motion to lien
City Attorney Dan Mantzaris stated that Staff and the Respondent have agreed that the
Respondent will pay $2500 provided that payment is made on or before August 19, 2019
Disposition: To allow the agreed upon amount and payment date.
Case Number: C2019-000271 Respondent: John R. Prickett
Code Enforcement Officer Reusch presented the case. He stated that the property is in partial
compliance.
The Respondent was not present.
Disposition: In violation of Section 34-61 Nuisances, Section 34-62 Creation or Maintenance of
Nuisance, Section 34-95 Prohibition of Storage of Certain Items, IPMC Section 302 Sanitation
IPMC Section 302.8 Motor Vehicles, IPMC Section 308.1 Rubbish and Garbage, with a fine of
$250 per day for every day in violation past August 19, 2019.
Case Number: C2019-000355 Respondent: POP Florida Properties, LLC
Code Enforcement Officer Neill presented the case.
The Respondent was not present.
Disposition: In violation of Section 102-8 (7) Prohibited Signs, Wind Signs, with no fine at this
time, however if the property becomes non -compliant it will be found in repeat violation.
With no further scheduled hearings, the hearing adjourned at 1:51 pm.
