CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING
November 16, 2021
The City of Clermont Code Enforcement Hearing for November 16, 2021 took place in the
Council Chambers at City Hall beginning at 1:30 pm with Special Magistrate Samuel Reda
presiding over the hearing. Also attending were Code Enforcement Supervisor Evie Wallace,
Code Enforcement Officers Andrew Snodgrass and Josh, Development Services Director Curt
Henschel, City Attorney Dan Mantzaris, and Planning Coordinator Rae Chidlow.
City Attorney Dan Mantzaris introduced himself and stated that case C2019-000465 has paid
their fine and will not be heard today.
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace, Snodgrass and Josh along with any of the public who may
testify, was sworn in.
Case Number: C2021 000029 Respondent: Richard Klaas
C2021-000031
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Andrew Buchman stated that Mr. Klaas is asking for an extension. He stated that Mr. Klaas has
hired an engineer and has a plan to get his property into compliance.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-344, Chapter 34, Section 34-61, 34-64,
IPMC Sections 109.1, 108.5 108.1.3, and 108.1.1 with an extension to January 16, 2022. Should
the violation not be corrected this case will be brought back to the January 18, 2022 to access the
fine.
Case Number: C2021-000032 Respondent: Camba Properties, Inc.
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Ed Miller, owner of Camba Properties, Inc., stated that he started work on the property. He stated
COVID came around He stated that he spoke with Mr. Klaas and found out about the deed
restrictions. He stated that he has looked for the original drawings but they have met records
retention. He stated that he is now looking for an engineer to draw up plans to reconstruct.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-344, Chapter 34, Section 34-61, 34-64,
IPMC Sections 109.1, 108.5 108.1.3, and 108.1.1 with an extension to January 16, 2022. Should
the violation not be corrected this case will be brought back to the January 18, 2022 to access the
fine.
Case Number: C2021-000033 Respondent: Barbara Giacobe
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Barbara Giacobe stated that she wants this rebuilt.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-344, Chapter 34, Section 34-61, 34-64,
IPMC Sections 109.1, 108.5 108.1.3, and 108.1.1 with an extension to January 16, 2022. Should
the violation not be corrected this case will be brought back to the January 18, 2022 to access the

Case Number: C2108-000040 Respondent: Fred & Anna Magee
Code Enforcement Officer Snodgrass presented the case. He stated that the property is in
compliance.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Patty McGriff stated that her mother has medical issues. She stated that they have hired a
maintenance guy to keep the property cleaned up. She stated that they have set it up so that it is
done monthly.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 34, Section 34-61, Section 122, Section 122-344(i) IPMC
Sections 301.3 and 302.4, and be brought back before the Magistrate as a repeat violation.
Case Number: C2108-000043 Respondent: Permacation, LLC
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Keith stated that they did not receive violation notice. He stated that they spoke with Building
Services and submitted a landscape plan.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 34, Section 34-61, Section 122, Section 122-344(i) IPMC
Sections 301.3 and 302.4, with a fine of $150 per day for every day in violation past December
16, 2021.
Case Number: C2106-000029 Respondent: South Lake Presbyterian

Code Enforcement Officer Snodgrass presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Disposition: In violation of Section 122, Section 122-344, with a fine of $150 per day for every
day in violation past February 10, 2022.

Respondent: Vette Development, LLC
The Moorings of Clermont HOA, Inc.
Code Enforcement Officer Snodgrass presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 94, Section 94-227, with a fine of $250 per day for every
day in violation past December 16, 2021.
Case Number: C2106-000046
Respondent: Neville & Camille De Silva
Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case.
The Respondent was present and sworn in.
Disposition: In violation of Chapter 34, Section 34-95, Section 54, Section 54-1 IPMC Sections
302.3, with a fine of $150 per day for every day in violation past December 16, 2021.
With no further scheduled hearings, the hearing adjourned at 2:40 pm.
