05-18-2021 Code Enforcement HearingCity of Clermont MINUTES CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING May 18, 2021 The City of Clermont Code Enforcement Hearing for May 18, 2021 took place in the Council Chambers at City Hall beginning at 1:30 pm with Special Magistrate Andrew Lanius presiding over the hearing. Also attending were Code Enforcement Officer Andrew Snodgrass, Code Enforcement Supervisor Evie Wallace, Planning Manager John Kruse, Development Services Director Curt Henschel, and City Attorney Dan Mantzaris. City Attorney Dan Mantzaris stated that case C2021-000074 is in compliance. He stated that the City is still working on case C2017-000484 and will not be heard today. Code Enforcement Officer Wallace, along with any of the public who may testify, was sworn in. Case Number: C2020-000960 Respondent: Arlene Rosenberg Trustee Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case. The Respondent was present and sworn in. Harvey Rosenberg stated that the fence was installed due to thefts. Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-343 and 122-344 and shall apply for rezoning within 30 days, with a fine of $150 per day for every day in violation past November 18, 2021. Case Number: C2021-000037 Respondent: James Duquette Code Enforcement Officer Wallace presented the case. The Respondent was present and sworn in. James Duquette stated that there has always been a fence on the property. He stated they repaired an existing fence. He stated that he can pull a permit as soon as he gets the survey. Disposition: In violation of Chapter 122, Section 122-343 and 122-344 with a fine of $150 per day for every day in violation past November 18, 2021.
