R-07-1517CITY OF CLERMONT RESOLUTION NO. 1517 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING ALAND- BASED TRAIL SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF CLERMONT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAP TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE FLORIDA FOREVER APPLICATION. WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida, desires to preserve and protect natural resources within the community; and WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida, desires to provide recreational opportunities within the community for hikers and exercise enthusiasts; and WHEREAS, the City of Clermont, Florida, wishes to establish hiking and exercise trails to provide recreational opportunities for both the City's citizens and visitors; NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Clermont, La~Ce County, Florida that: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Clermont hereby establishes a recreational land-based trails program that is conducive to recreational hikers and exercise enthusiasts.
