NO. 1469
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA ADOPTING
PROCEDURE FOR SALE AND TRANSFER OF INTERNMENT
RIGHTS FOR OAK HILL CEMETERY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF CLERMONT, PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 22-3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clermont,
provides that the City Council shall by resolution adopt rules, regulations and restrictions
for the use of the cemetery; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that in the interest of
accurate record keeping and efficiency with regard to the sale and transfer of internment
rights for Oak Hill Cemetery, it is necessary that the City Council adopt a Cemetery Deed
form and authorize its use by City personnel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
• Clermont, Lake County, Florida that:
Section 1.
The City Council of the City of Clermont does herby adopt the Cemetery Deed,
substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2.
The City Council does further authorize the City Clerk to issue a Cemetery Deed upon
receipt of payment as has been established, and may be revised in the future, by separate
resolution of this Council.
Section 3.
All resolutions, rules, regulations, restrictions or policies of the City of Clermont in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict.
Section 4.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

OAK HILL CEMETERI' DEED
. The City of Clermont, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of Florida
and having its principal place of business in the County of Lake, State of Florida, the
Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of Dollars the
receipt of which is acknowledged, does grant, bargain, sell, convey, release
And quit claim unto
his/her heirs
and assigns, the following:
Lot:
As laid out and designated on the Plat of the burial grounds of the Oak Hill Cemetery, filed
on September 15, 1893, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 41; and as represented on the Plat
of Oak Hill Addition, filed on February 14, 1952, as recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 23; and
as represented on the Plat of Oak Hill Cemetery Second Addition, filed on January 4, 1960,
as recorded in Plat Book 15, Page 19, all in the Public Records of Lake County, Florida; and,
For use as a burial ground or a place of interment, and for no other purpose whatsoever.
To have and to hold subject at all times to the rules and regulations of such cemetery now in
force and effect or later amended, altered, changed and/or adopted and with the covenant the
Grantor is lawfully seized of said property which is free of any encumbrance and that Grantor
warrants title to said property and will defend the same against the lawful claims of any
person.
• In Witness Whereof, said Grantor has executed this Cemetery Deed this day of
by its City Clerk, with its corporate seal affixed.
