Re: Residuals Hauling, Treatment and Disposal
Request to Piggy-Back City of Apopka Contract
The City's Utilities Department researched a variety of bids and is requesting to piggy-back
the competitive bid from the City of Apopka for residuals (sludge) hauling, treatment and
disposal by Shelly's Environmental Systems. The contract that the City currently uses
expired, but the company continued to honor the price. Unfortunately, they will no perform at
the lower price of the expired contract. The contract and fee schedule are attached.
I am requesting authorization to piggy-back the City of Apopka, Florida bid residuals hauling,
treatment and disposal ftom Shelly's Environmental Systems.
