Box 120219 685 West Montrose Street Clermont, Florida 34712 RE: CITY OF CLERMONT NEW THREE BAY FIRE STATION Dear Mr. Saunders: C. T. Hsu + Associates, P.A. (CTH+A) is most pleased to submit this fee proposal for our professional .services for a New Three Bay Fire Station project. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of complete Architectural and Building Engineering design services for a new three bay fire station. We will visit and discuss with staff the proposed program and site. We will prepare a space needs study which will include proposed square footage requirements, spatial adjacencies, conceptual site diagrams, and a preliminary probable cost of construction, prior to proceeding with final design. II. SCOPE OF SERVICES CTH+A proposes to provide the following professional design services for the Project: Programming 1.1 Review preliminary list of needs provided by Clermont. 1.2 Spatial Relationships 1.3 Visit existing Station No 1 - 1.4. Review CTHA lother prototypes 1.5 Finalize Building Program 2. Conceptual Site Diagrams 2.1 Site Analysis 2.2 Planning Ordinances 2.3 Functional Relationships 2.4 Access /Circulation /Services • • 3. Design Development 3.1 Two sets of developed building design and preliminary engineering layouts for review by Owner. 3.2 Outline Specifications 3.3 Updated probable cost 4. Construction Documents 4.1 Permit Set of Architecture and Engineering for Building Department 4.2 Bid Set for traditional bid delivery 4.3 Final Specifications 5. Construction Administration 5.1 Periodic Site Visits 5.2 Traditional Review of Submittals 5.3 Substantial and Final Inspections III TIME SCHEDULE CTH+A will work diligently with the City to meet the project schedule requirement. Our staff is sufficient to meet your design schedule and our present workload would allow us to start immediately upon notice to proceed. IV FEE SCHEDULE CTH+A proposed to provide professional design services as described in our Scope of Services fora lump sum fee of One Hundred Ninety Five Thousand Dollars ($195,000.00) with the following payment schedule: Programming Schematic 15% Design Development 20% Construction Dccuments 40% Bidding/Permitting 05% Construction Admin 20% V REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES Reimbursable Expenses: The costs of items such as long distance telephone, fax, Xerox copies, presentation materials, blueprinting, postage, plotting and other project related costs are separate from this Contract at a cost plus 10%. These costs will be billed at the first of each month and are due upon receipt of invoice. • VI TERMS AND CONDITIONS • Terms and conditions for our services including additional services will be per the AIA Document 8141 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect. VII EXCLUSIONS Survey, Geotechnicat Engineering, Environmental Services, Signalization Design and Civil Engineering are excluded from our proposal.
